Our 4th in San Diego

I felt so lucky and blessed this year to be able to get out of town for the night to celebrate 4 years of marriage with my man!  We had such a good time letting loose in San Diego.  It was our first time leaving Owen for the night, but we were ready and we knew he was in good hands with Gran and Papa!
We drove down to SD on Saturday morning and started our adventure with a bike ride!

It was so fun to ride by the water and enjoy the beautiful view of the harbor.
Bike riding in the city brought back memories of living in Seattle!
We love riding bikes together!

After a good handful of miles we worked up a little appetite!
We went to a burger spot called The Burger Lounge, it was all grass fed beef and super healthy! Jeff got that burger there and I enjoyed a delicious salad with tons of veggies!!

Then we strolled through Little Italy! We walked up and down the streets and explored the shops. We got delicious Canoli from an authentic Italian shop, it was seriously SO GOOD!!
We found a nice shady spot and sat down for a bit and just people watched!
It is one of our most favorite things to do, and it was nice to have nothing to do but just sit and enjoy the nice cool ocean breeze!

Once we were able to check into our room we headed to the hotel to scope out our room! We had an awesome balcony that we could see the harbor from!

The hotel was really nice!!

Before we went out I took some time to lay out on the balcony and get my tan on! It was such a treat to not have to change any diapers, clean any sticky hands or wipe any snotty faces!
I was soaking up my "ME" time!

I loved being able to get dressed up and fancy!

After we got ready we headed to The Glass Door, the restaurant at our hotel, it was so nice! We sat outside where it overlooked the harbor. It was pretty romantic being with Jeff as the sun was setting!

We had such a lovely dinner, I love being able to treat ourselves every now and again! Jeff was loving his seafood and I had a juicy steak!

After dinner we headed out to Gas Lamp for a night on the town!!
We had a couple of drinks at Henrey's and enjoyed the people watching.
There were a TON of crazies down there for sure!!

Look at my man!
I seriously love him so much! I'm so thankful that I get to be married to him
He is truly my very best friend!

Later we headed to Whiskey Girl and did some serious booty shaking!
hahahahah JK!!
orami?

After we got our fill of Gas Lamp, Jeff, like a pro flagged us a cab and we headed back to the hotel!
We got some sleep and got the luxury of sleeping in the next morning!!

On Sunday we ventured into Coronado where we ate a delicious breakfast at Night & Day Cafe! We shared the "Porker" omelet and it was AMAZING!!
We rode bikes around and gawked at all of the beautiful houses!!
We found our retirement spot, which means we need to make our small fortune!

We spent sometime by the water at Imperial Beach and then headed to La Jolla where we ate a yummy lunch and just enjoyed our last couple of hours baby free!
We were so happy to come home to snag our little dude back, but we definitely enjoyed our weekend away!

I am so thankful for my husband, and all that God has done and continues to do in our life!
I cant believe it has been 4 years and I cannot wait for 40 more!
I love you babe!
